Smart phones have been increasing the quality of navigation and Garmin is one such company which is inspired to introduce a different and totally new way of providing the navigation facility by displaying the direction’s on the car’s windshield. By using a lens or a transparent film which is attached to the device, a driver can use the HUD (head-up display) in order to view real-time navigation on the car’s windshield. The navigation can be used during the daytime as well as during night time. The device supports iPhone, Android phones and Windows phone used in association with the Garmin StreetPilot1 or Navigon App. The HUD is scheduled to go on sale in a short period of time at $255.95.
