The Wi-Fi Water Sensor works with your smartphone to prevent disastrous leaks

The D-Link Wi-Fi Water Sensor alerts you when water leaks are detected by sending push notifications to your smartphone via Wi-Fi. It also sounds an alarm, which can be adjusted up to 70db, and it flashes a light when water has been detected in an area so you can prevent water damage before it gets worse.

To set it up, just plug it into a wall outlet and turn it on to let it connect to your Wi-Fi network. Then, connect it with the mydlink Home App in your smartphone.

It’s recommended to be placed near water heaters, sinks, washing machines, and bathtubs. The Water Sensor can be also be extended using the detachable 3.5ft non-sensing and the 1.65ft sensor cables included in the package.

The Water Sensor is also IFTTT compatible, enabling it to communicate with other IFTTT-enabled products for a smarter home setup.
